The event is co-organized by the Chinese Center of San Francisco Public Library, Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office (HKETO), Hong Kong Association of Northern California (HKANC), Alice & the Wave, Save Cantonese and Chinese Traditional Herbal Exhibition Hall.

The Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office (HKETO) in San Francisco established in 1986, seeks to strengthen and broaden Hong Kong’s economic relations with 19 western states.  The office also dedicates efforts to foster cultural exchanges between Hong Kong and the western states to promote awareness of Hong Kong as a dynamic and diverse cultural metropolis.

The Hong Kong Association of Northern California (HKANC), founded in 1984, is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization for business professionals in Northern California. HKANC is devoted to fostering closer economic, cultural and academic ties between Hong Kong and Northern California and to facilitate business opportunities for individuals and corporations interested in Greater China and its neighboring region. The music of Alice & the Wave is extremely diverse in the music domain, and was rated as "Sensational Band of the Orient" by Bay Area FM 96.5 KOIT radio. The leader Alice Lui became the first and only Asian who got invited to perform at the 2011 Yosemite International Jazz Festival with world class musicians.

Save Cantonese is an international movement that sustains and celebrates Cantonese language and culture. Through grassroots advocacy, we protect and promote local language programs, while strengthening connections across the global Cantonese diaspora. We ensure that present and future generations benefit from a vibrant, thriving Cantonese-speaking and learning community.
