Meet Our Speakers:

PETER S. MYERS is a Tax & Wealth Planning Partner in the San Francisco office of Fox Rothschild, a national law firm. Peter is a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law by the State Bar of California's Board of Legal Specialization. He guides high-net-worth individuals and families in tax planning, business succession, and trusts and estates disputes.

Peter writes and teaches frequently on estate planning topics. He is executive editor of Business Succession Planning: Strategies for California Estate Planners and Business Attorneys, published by Continuing Education of the Bar-California. He has taught as an adjunct faculty member at Golden Gate University and The Wealth Strategies Institute at Michigan State University. Peter also leads popular educational seminars and training courses for consumers, attorneys, business owners, accountants and other professionals, including the annual Fiduciary Attorney Summit. Peter is a graduate of American University and the University of California, Hastings College of the Law.

SCOTT M. SNYDER is an International Tax & Wealth Planning Partner in the Miami office of Fox Rothschild, a national law firm. He focuses his practice on advising high-net-worth individuals in a full range of international tax planning and wealth management. Scott is experienced in drafting sophisticated foreign and domestic trust agreements and advise clients regarding all aspects of international wealth-succession and pre-immigration tax planning, including matters related to the U.S. taxation of foreign trusts, foreign foundations, U.S. estate and gift tax rules as applicable to non-citizen, non-resident alien domiciliaries, and the U.S. taxation of U.S. beneficiaries of foreign trusts.

He has guided clients in drafting drop off trusts and reorganizing U.S. and non-U.S. investments. He also advises clients on inbound tax planning, including the use of U.S. tax treaties, establishing portfolio interest investment structures, and creating tax-efficient U.S. real property investment structures. Scott is a graduate of the University of Central Florida and earned a J.D. and an LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Miami School of Law.
